I certainly didn't expect to be including the Creeper seeds so maybe there will be some other surprises along the way.

What an artistic shot! It belongs in one of those Victorian-like watercolor books about flowers. The plant looks very hardy. Would it survive in the dry So Calif climate? (What am I saying - in the misty, damp of the Calif coast?)
Tash, I swirled a finger through it at the last minute for interest. Who knew? I looked it up and it's good from zones 3-9. Apparently it's what really covers Ivy League schools. Like someone said, they didn't want to call it the Creeper League so....
OK I'll take you up on the dill...thanks!!! I have some purple sweet peas that get planted in the fall, want some?
D, it's a deal. I'll send you some and I would love the sweet pea seeds in return.
What a lovely blog you have here. I'm not much of a gardener, but I very much admire gardeners. I'm also not much of a photographer, but I very much admire photographers. Looks like you've combined both.
Margaret, you're always so insightful and thoughtful in your remarks, I take it as a real compliment that you stopped by.
Love what you did with the seeds. I've got Virginia Creeper growing on my fence, and invading my garden. Didn't know they had seeds. I love it but ugh I don't want any more, hope there are no seeds around here.
I'll be insightful and thoughtful too if I can have some dill seeds. (I'm saving too, so we'll trade.)
I swear, KB, you're a dilly! I'll be glad to send you seeds but I want to be surprised by what you send me in return.
OK!
Do you still have Virginia Creeper seed?
Yes Dick I do and you're welcome to it. Just email me your address and I'll be happy to send it your way.
